THIS IS IT...THE LAST OF IT!!

THIS IS IT...THE LAST OF IT!!!!

Yes, the end is near...last of the sale items see herehere and here!

So here we are in my laundry room,
Please note that this picture was taken by a professional photographer with a wide lens, it is a wonderful large room but this pic makes it looks huge!
Below the large San Francisco framed poster I picked up a few years ago at a consignment store,  I placed these two adorable old watering cans I purchased at the sale...
..these two guys are purely decorative as I'm pretty certain they will not hold water!! I got the pair for $5.
The cute white ceramic bucket I picked up at GW for $2. I filled it with plastic bags and stuck some pumpkins just on the top to give the impression it is full! I know, not from the sale but a recent find even so....ha!

Jumping over to the other side of the house...My bedroom....where the last of those black baskets sits on my master bedroom bookcase which sits below our wall mounted flat screen TV.
All I did was fill it with what I already had on the shelf...I know, I actually struggled to find another good spot for this basket but I HAD to use it!..so here it is....it is the perfect size and length for the shelf and adds some more texture to whole vignette.
One quirky thing about this pick...do you see the lamp reflected in the glass of the map picture? funky eh?
It shows up here too but not quite as obvious.

Gosh guys....could that be it????? Think so!!!!
Hope you enjoyed it all as much as I did,

Hugs,
Mandy

WOVEN, TEXTURE AND MORE!

WOVEN, TEXTURE AND MORE!

More items from the wonderful going out of business sale see here and here.

To start with, two more black baskets.....
One turned on it's side placed in the alcove above my refrigerator with a couple of pumpkins thrown in for the season!

The second sits on my kitchen table (of course!)

It sits on the rattan table runner which was only $3,

the pair of iron candle sticks with distressed amber glass votives were $3 (the pair I said!). I picked up the potted wheat sheaft at GW for $4. And here it is with candlelight aaaaahhhh!
Now, remember these?
First one..."PARSLEY to soothe"
Next, "SAGE for stength
 And, "ROSEMARY for faithfulness"
And last but certainly NOT least, "THYME for courage"!
So cute !
Thyme sits on my sun room table recently featured here.
Aren't the descriptions great?
They sit inside one another (like fun Russian dolls!)
So basically "Parsley" is the biggest and "Thyme"is the  smallest!
"Tiny Thyme" sits on my sun room end table that I recently posted here
"Strength and Faithfulness"
hold some books in my little '30's desk in the hearth area of the kitchen

And
Big Sooth is home to my rooster lamp in the family dining area

There's more...but you'll have to wait for tomorrow's post!

Hope you come back!
Hugs,
Mandy

AND THE SHOW CONTINUES....

AND THE SHOW CONTINUES...
sharing with you my finds from the Decorator Sale here

I got two of these wonderful "Tall Skinny Vases" which stand about 24 inches high, and are painted tin and cost me $12 each!
I put one by the fireplace in the kitchen and stuck a pumpkin and witch hat on it,
and the other I placed on the living mantle alongside a spiffy tall glass lidded jar that I also got from her for $8. The funky cone shaped branches were $4 for the bunch the rest of the fillers I already had.
Okay, onto the coffee table, and this cool plaster pedestal I picked up for ...$5. I like the height difference it creates for my ginger jars.

The three items sit on a gorgeous square tray which is heavy metal with a leather insert...
got it for $25 but look at the detail....
Love it!
See the orange pillow on the sofa? Silk, got two of them for $8! The cream and green ones I made but that will be another post!

Okay y'all tomorrow's post will feature more items,  so come back!!!!
Here's some yummy tantalizing pictures of what is still to come!
Okay, join me tomorrow!
Hugs

MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL....

MIRROR, MIRROR, ON THE WALL.....

I was able to profit from a Decorator's "Going out of business sale" which I blogged about yesterday here and bought some really good STUFF for very little money. I used some of them in the dining room here and thought I would share them with you today.
Picked up this star burst mirror for $25 ...
and hung it in the dining room
Oh and while I'm in this area, I switched out the summer Guy Buffet plates see here to the Tuscany collection
I also got this large cloche for....$5!!
I bought two of these twig topiary for $4 ea
And a bag of 8 pumpkin balls for $1.

And on the dining table I filled one of the two sets of rectangle baskets (each set had 2 baskets for $5!) with some fall decor and placed it on my new burlap and muslin table runner, perfect!
Let me tell you about the runner. Sonya from Sonya Hamilton Interiors Beyond the Screen Door Designs.  made it for me. Her items are gorgeous quality and so affordable! This is the third item I have purchased from her. Check out her blog where you will find more of her great work for sale!
