A STORY OF A HOUSE

It's been a long time since my last post....I admire all of you who can keep posting and run a household and take care of family and run a business and still find the time to take photos, prepare blogs and keep us entertained with them!  Miss Mustard Seed is one of them....she is truly amazing...

Okay ready? This is a long post so bare with me....
We custom designed and built our home 10 years ago.
Here it is...
If you like the European country style then you will love it. It is truly a personal home designed for our family and taste.... Here are views the back, as well as one from the 17th tee box.
We also own a lake house that is situated just a couple of hours north of here on Big Turkey Lake....
We built it in 2008 and love it!
Here are views of the front and back views of the lake with fire pit and boat!
We take care of both the homes ourselves....all the outside work, grass cutting, edging, flower beds, mulching, all of the inside cleaning, cleaning and cleaning!
Fishers home: 11000 square feet. 7 bedrooms, 5 baths and 2 1/2 baths, full basement, living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, laundry, breakfast and sun room.....
View of the formal living room

Lake house: 2500 square feet. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths,  loft area, living room, dining, kitchen, laundry, screened in porch.
View from stairwell of living room and dining area.

My husband is retired, I work as Stager for the Marchant Keller Williams Team and a couple of other agents in our area.

We have both houses on the market. Yes, we do have too much real estate to take care of!
We love the lake house but we built it thinking we would successfully sell our large permanent home quickly and be able to move into a smaller, less maintenance home etc. But with the housing market the way it is that has unfortunately not happened.

I apologize for such a long post..!!! If you are still here and reading I really hope you will join me in this journey. Your blogs have given me so many ideas and have inspired me to move forward with projects that I have put off for ages....

Thanks for your time,
hugs
Mandy
