EASY DECOUPAGE TABLE

Glass top tables are attractive enough but they are a pain to keep clean, at least that's what I think! Seems that no matter how much you clean, wipe, dig into the corners, you always end up with glass smears...I know I'm a perfectionist....but those little imperfections bother me!

I had this side table that matched the sofa and armchair in our sunroom, never could get it perfect!
This picture was taken one Christmas which explains the Santa figurine and snow on the ground outside!!!

I found a piece of cardboard that fits the underside of the glass piece perfectly. Grabbed my scrap booking paper, an old book, my box of labels, some pressed leaves, glue and ....
came up with this:

The cardboard piece slides under the glass and is held by the framing of the table.
I may add some old pics too, in time, when I get around to it....ha!!!
Fun, attractive and practical at the same time...
And QUICK!
Hugs,
Mandy

  6. Oh you are a clever girl. I will be featuring door decor this week but maybe you could submit this again so I can feature it next week because I agree with the whole glass thing and this is a great solution to a common problem.
